I designed the cover for this novel by photographing a grainy projection of the novel’s title on a set of plain wooden Matryoshka dolls. The dolls and the grungy aesthetic of the type projected are visual representations of the theme of self discovery through self destruction, as well as the 1990’s grunge scene which provides the setting of the novel.
